Aluminum Titanate

The Aluminum Titanate Al2TiO5 called Tialite is a ceramic material made by a mixture of aluminum oxide Al2O3 and titanium dioxide TiO2. It’s characterized by an excellent resistance to thermal shock and consequently very low thermal expansion coefficient, by a low thermal conductivity, low elastic modulus, good chemical resistance that make it a material used in various applications such as aluminum foundries, glassworks and precious metals.

Due to its characteristics, aluminum Titanate is used to obtain casting crucibles, rising pipes for low pressure and die casting, bushings, molds in the glass sector, etc.
